LOOK: Presidential Grandson, Stonefish’s 1st Birthday Party Is As Simple As The Presidential Family

The latest addition to the Duterte family, Marco Digong “Stonefish” Duterte, the grandson of the president turned one last Friday, but his party is as beautiful and solemn as it is simple.

Presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte and her husband Atty. Mans Carpio welcomed their baby boy last year.

As their son turns 1 on Friday, they kept the celebration simple. President Rodrigo Duterte personally attended his grandson’s birthday, all the photos are evidence of how he enjoyed seeing his family.

Simple celebration

Unlike other celebrities or personalities’ – or rather, children of celebrities or personalities, Stonefish’s party wasn’t celebrated in a 5-star hotel.

It was done in a simple venue, even the decorations that were used were done by people extending help and not by prominent organizers.

Netizen Mike Luyao shared several pictures of him helping out with decorations which were simple but nice.

Mayor’s Photobooth

In one photo, the Mayor herself is seen having fun as they pose for a photo in the photo booth or the party. This photo also shows the simple entrance to the presidential grand son’s first birthday party.

Even the cake that the President, his wife Honeylet, and their daughter Kitty gave as a gift is simple and not towering and extravagant.

This just goes to show how down to earth and simple Duterte’s family is. Just a simple day enjoying and bonding with their family is more than enough.

Dubbed as the selfie king because of his photos where he is on the side wearing the same expression, Bong Go did it again. He shared a series of photos showing how happy the party was.
